FAQ
What age is safe to feed dogs fish skin jerky treats?
For the majority of our air-dried fish treats, we recommend that your puppy is at least 16 weeks of age before they consume the treat. This is mainly due to the size and durability of the treat. You can feed your puppy certain fish skin jerky treats, such as our Fish Skin Cubes and Fish Fingers Skins, from 12 weeks of age.
Are fish skin jery treats suitable for dogs with pancreatitis?
If your dog has pancreatitis, we highly recommend that you first seek advice from your veterinarian before introducing anything new into your dog's diet. It is important to note that fish is a high-quality protein and most or naturally low in fat, which can be essential in the diet for dogs with pancreatitis. For dogs with pancreatitis, we recommend our whitefish jerky treats as these only contain one ingredient and are 2.56% fat. However, please seek your veterinarian's advice first.
Is Skipper's fish skin jerky treats grain-free?
Yes, all of our fish skin jerky treats are grain-free. Plus, they only contain one ingredient.
Do fish skin jerky treats contain any nasties?
Our range of air-dried fish treats contains no additives, preservatives, colourings, flavourings, or E-numbers. Our fish skin jerky treats are natural and single-ingredient.
