Frequently Asked Questions

Is turkey safe for dogs to eat every day?

Yes, turkey is safe for dogs to eat daily when it’s part of a complete and balanced diet. It’s a lean protein source that supports muscle health and provides essential nutrients, making it suitable for everyday feeding.

What are the benefits of turkey dog food compared to chicken?

Turkey is naturally leaner than chicken, making it lower in fat and easy to digest. It’s also a great alternative protein for dogs who thrive on poultry but need a little variety. Both are excellent protein sources, but turkey dog food can be a lighter option whilst still providing the nutrients your dog needs.

Is turkey dog food good for dogs with sensitive stomachs?

Yes, turkey is a gentle, easily digestible protein, making it a good choice for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Combined with fibre-rich sweet potato and prebiotics, grain free turkey dog food can support smooth digestion and overall gut health.

Can dogs eat cranberries in their food?

Yes, cranberries are safe for dogs in small amounts. They’re packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that support immune health and urinary tract wellbeing. In our Turkey dog food, cranberries are included in a safe, balanced way.

Is turkey dog food hypoallergenic?

Turkey dog food is grain free and free from common allergens such as wheat, soy, dairy, and beef. Whilst turkey is less likely to trigger sensitivities than some proteins, any food can cause a reaction if a dog has a specific allergy. For most dogs, it’s considered a gentle and hypoallergenic option.

When should I switch my dog to turkey-based food?

Switching to turkey-based food can be helpful if your dog needs a leaner protein source, has a sensitivity to other meats, or if you simply want to add variety to their diet. Always transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing the new food with their current diet to avoid digestive upset.
