Description

A festive print that's full of hometown pride.

Our Grimsby-inspired Christmas Print is the artwork featured on this year's limited edition Skipper's Dog Advent Calendar. As a collaboration with Fran, a talented artist, she hand-painted this vibrant piece that captures the hearts of our seaside town with charm, four-legged friends, and a splash of festive fun.

The scene showcases iconic Grimsby landmarks like the Dock Tower, the Ice House, and the beloved Ross Tiger, which has been renamed the Ruff Tiger in honour of our furry friends!

Painted in Fran's signature style, this artwork blends Grimsby's rich fishing heritage with a touch of Christmas magic and canine character.

Please note, this print does not come with a frame. The print size is A4 (21cm x 29.7cm).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do dogs recognise Christmas?

Dogs may not understand Christmas as humans do, but they can pick up on the festive energy, changes in routines, and the excitement in the air. They often enjoy the extra attention, new toys, treats, and the time spent with their families during Christmas. Whilst it's been reported by some dog owners that their dg known when the festive season or Christmas day is coming, dogs will not understand the holiday.

What are the treats in our dog advent calendar like.

There are a variety of treat textures in our dog advent calendar:

Fish Skin Cubes - These have a hard and chewy texture, making them great for dental health.
Luxury Whitefish Cubes - These cubes are hard and crunchy.
Little Gems - Similar to our Luxury Whitefish Cubes, these are hard and crunchy.
Whitefish & Herb Slices - These are a soft and chewy treat. Great to use as a training treat.

What can I do with my dog on Christmas?

Christmas is a wonderful time to create special memories with your dog. From going on an extra-long festive walk and baking homemade dog treats to capturing family photos and including them in the gift-giving fun, there are plenty of ways to involve your furry friend in the celebrations.
