    Oh my COD! It’s a crunch of flavour straight from the sea! Nothing more, nothing less!  

     

    Our high in protein treats are made from 100% air-dried Cod skins! The moisture in our Fish Fingers are gently extracted in our drying chambers leaving you with a more nutritionally dense treat. It’s a Finger with no additives and no preservatives, just an all-natural, nutritious and tasty treat. It’ll leave your dog wanting more and the bonus is that it also helps to clean their teeth! 


    The naturally abrasive texture helps with teeth cleaning whilst also being low in fat and packed with highly digestible protein. 


    This is a natural product, colour and size may vary slightly. Don’t forget that dogs can get very excited and forget to chew, we advise to always supervise your dog when feeding a treat.

    Fish Origin & Species

    Our Process

    STEP 1

    Sustainably sourced fish is skinned and filleted. The fillets go to places like Supermarkets and fishmongers while we take the skins that would otherwise not be used.

    STEP 2

    We grade the skins by size and twist and fold them by hand into the required shapes to make the products our customers love.

    STEP 3

    The skins go into our special air-drying ovens, at low temperatures, for 2-5 days, and we gently lift the moisture from the skins.

    STEP 4

    Once the skins are perfectly dried to lock in all of that fishy goodness, we pack them up, ready to send to our customers' lucky dogs!

    Please note due to our Fish Finger Skins being a natural product, size and weight can differ. Therefore, the quantities mentioned are approximate quantities.

    12 weeks is the earliest age you can start feeding our Fish Finger Skins to your dog.

    Absolutely! Our Fish Finger Skins are made from 100% Cod Skin and this treat is even suitable for dogs with allergies or intolerances.

    Our Fish Finger Skins are 6cm - 9cm in length.

    When it comes to Pancreatitis in dogs, we always advise you to speak to your vet before trying any of our products, however, we do have customers who have dogs with pancreatitis and have said they get along well with our Fish Skin products such as our Fish Finger Skins.  With pancreatitis, as you probably already know, it is important that your dog has a low-fat diet, this is to reduce the probability of inflammation within your dog’s digestive system.

    When it comes to sensitive stomachs in dogs, we always advise you to speak to your vet before trying any of our products.  We have many customers with dogs that have sensitive stomachs, all those that have spoken with us have said that our Fish Skin range such as our Fish Finger Skins are perfect for their dogs and especially for their sensitive stomachs.

    For extra small dogs such as chihuahuas, our Fish Finger Skins may be a little too big for them to handle. However, all other breeds should be able to handle our Fish Finger Skins.

    Our Fish Finger Skins are among the longest lasting treats in our range, however, they are not as long-lasting in comparison to our Flatties, Twists and Throwsticks. The longevity of the Fish Finger Skin is dependent on how strong of a chewer your dog is. On average our Fish Finger Skins last approximately 2-5 minutes.

    Your dog's breath will only smell of fish for the period they are eating the treat and for a short period after. The smell does not linger and can in fact help to clean your dog's teeth, in turn helping to freshen your dog's breath.
